Al-Jazeera – Oct.  18, 2014 – The Spanish Socialist Party has circulated a bill in the parliament to officially recognize Palestine as sovereign nation.  The Palestinian official news agency citing a parliamentary spokesperson for the socialist party saying this party has asked the parliament president to discuss the issue at the next session. 
At the same time, Irish Parliament has also drafted a bill to recognize the independence of Palestine similar to the measure taken by the Swedish government.
