Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with US Secretary of State John Kerry over the events taking place in Palestine.
“A number of Organization of Islamic Cooperation Foreign Ministers held a special session in the United Nations General Assembly discussing the incidents in the al-Aqsa Mosque,” said Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad al-Maliki.
“These ministers have decided to meet with the UN General Assembly President and the Security Council to have the UN take the necessary measures in relation to the al-Aqsa Mosque.
