In Middle East news, Palestine Ambassador to the United Nations Riyadh Mansour expressed his unhappiness regarding the United Nations Security Council at the end of the council’s session on Monday.
“The status quo will not last and returning to the status quo prior to this aggression will not last not either. Fundamental changes must be seen in the lives of the Gaza people. We have become disappointed because these issues have not been reflected in the statement.”
The United Nations Security Council on Monday held an emergency session calling for an urgent and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza.
