The Syrian National Coalition issued an official statement condemning the direct military intervention by Russia on Syrian soil, saying Moscow has surpassed supporting Bashar Assad in his crimes and genocide, and now entered the stage of direct military meddling with these aggressive measures. This direct intervention by the Russian leadership places it amongst the top enemies of the Syrian nation, and Russian military forces are from our perspective occupying troops invading our country, the statement reads.
