
The Norwegian Foreign Ministry has started investigation regarding the arrest of Maasoumeh Mansouri, a member of the families of massacred political prisoners in Iran in 1988.
Reporting this news, the Norwegian daily Dag Bladet wrote: We met with Maasoumeh early this October. She said “I was threatened several times by the Iranian regime. They accused me of activities against the national security and threatened me to desist my activities.
Dag Bladet added: Mrs. Mansouri activities was because of her father’s arrest. Her father has been arrested because of participating in the commemorating ceremony for the massacred political prisoners at Khavaran cemetery.
According to this daily, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry in Oslo is investigating over this file and has asked the Norwegian ambassador to Tehran to discuss this issue with the Iranian regime.
The senior Norwegian Foreign Ministry’s counselor told the media: “We are afraid that the Maasoumeh’s arrest might be somehow related to this article.”
