Nigeria has elected a new president. An official said Muhammadu Buhari defeated incumbent Goodluck Jonathan by about 2 million votes. Mr. Buhari is a retired major general and his presidential victory comes during a hard time for Nigeria, as the militant group Boko Haram continues to terrorize the country.
