The United States and European Union imposed new economic sanctions against Russia. According to the Associated Press the new White House sanctions are against two Russian energy companies, two powerful financial firms, eight military companies and 4 Russian officials.
EU officials in their session in Brussels agreed that the Europe Investment Bank belonging to the EU and the European Renovation and Development Bank have no right to do any investment in Russia.
These sanctions are being imposed in response to Russia’s aggressions against Ukraine.
