Syrian rebels said they have formed a new group by the name of the al-Harmoun Army in the Qunaytirah Province.
The goal in forming this army is to break the siege imposed on cities and towns west of Damascus. One other goal of this unit is to take control over the region known as the ‘Death Triangle’ linking Qunaytirah to Deraa and Damascus provinces.
The al-Harmoun Army in its first military operation took control of the al-Hamar heights near Qunaytirah area.
