In Ukraine news, member states of the European Union on Tuesday reached an agreement to increase sanctions against Russia. The German DPA news agency reported these sanctions include Russian banks’ access to financial markers, importing weapons, dual-use products and energy technology.
Additionally, 8 officials and 4 other institutions have been added to the blacklist.
The new EU sanctions are to be imposed on Thursday, July 31st. US Secretary of State John Kerry stipulated on Tuesday Washington will also impose new sanctions against Russia.
