The Peyamnir News Agency in Iraqi Kurdistan cited a Kurdish paper revealing, “In each polling device in the Iraqi general elections and the Kurdistan regional provincial councils, 23 votes have been registered for Talabani’s party and Maliki.”
According to this news agency, “In each voting devices, according to a specific program, this calculation was made for it to be able give 23 more votes and therefore it was programmed to have these 23 votes go for Talabni’s party in the cities of Kirkuk, Erbil, Suleimaniya, Dehuk and Mosul, and in other Iraqi provinces it would be in favor of the State of Law of Nouri Maliki. Therefore this has become possible that a large number of cards were printed and they would be used according to certain interests.”
