While the Free Syrian Army is waiting to receive special weaponry, posted video footages show they have new Red Arrow missiles at their disposal. This new Russian-made, wire-guided missile is used against armor.
The projectile fuel is liquid and its speed is more than 200 km/h, with a range of over 2,000 meters.
Despite receiving these weapons the rebels are in need of anti-air missiles to provide air cover for ground operations that are threatened by intense aerial bombings.
