NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said there are reports of increasing Russian military presence in Syria and they are very concerning.
Russian forces are taking part in operations launched by Bashar Assad’s army against the opposition, informed Lebanese sources said.
During his visit to the Czech Republic on Wednesday the head of NATO called on Russia to refrain from continuing its military presence in Syria.
Enjoying the support of Russia and Iran the Assad regime has to this day killed more than 300,000 of its own people and displaced millions of Syrians.
