Thousands rallied in Moscow protesting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s policies and to prevent a probable war with Ukraine. An AFP reporter estimated the number of participants in this demonstration dubbed “March for Peace” at being up to 50,000.
“My duty is to express my support for the Ukrainian people. A people that want to be independent and relieve themselves of the big brother dictatorship,” a protester said.
