INTV, 1 Oct 2013 – Units of the Free Syrian Army in Damascus launched a mortar barrage against Assad’s presidential palace in the Tashrin district. The fighters also targeted the Kafar Susa security region and inflicted severe damages to the facilities of Assad’s military forces.
According to other news, FSA fighters continued their advances in Deraa, and they have been able to take over further positions of Assad’s forces. According to Al Jazeera TV, the fighters were also able to confiscate a large amount of weapons and ammunitions.
Near Lazaqiya FSA fighters also attacked the shelters of Assad’s paramilitary and security forces.
