Zalmay Khalilzad, the US representative at the United Nations said: “Washington is working on more sanctions against Iran to implement if this regime doesn’t abandon its nuclear program.”

He added:” Moving towards imposing more sanctions on the Iranian regime is legitimate, the same way the efforts carried out by other countries outside Security Council are legitimate, and I don’t see any contradiction between these two.
