On Tuesday the Russian army carried out widespread military maneuvers in the Crimea peninsula, while simultaneously NATO began massive military drills with around 1,700 soldiers from 14 countries taking part in northern Poland. These maneuvers are aimed at strengthening NATO positions in eastern Europe sending a clear message to Moscow.
