Free Syrian Army rebels in the Syrian city of Daraa said they have inflicted heavy casualties to Assad forces in recent battles, adding they have made major advances on the main road of this city leading to Damascus.
The Syria Live Network said a number of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militants were killed by the FSA rebels in the al-Khiyala base near the city of Aleppo.
In Aleppo itself FSA rebels also caused more casualty to Assad forces in other areas of the country. The town of Raas Alma Arrah was targeted with explosive barrel bombs, leaving at least 14 civilians killed.
