Members of US Congress Mr. Ed Towns and Mrs. Carolyn Kyle Patrick strongly condemned the explosion of water station of Ashraf City by the terrorist Qods force. In their letter, they also referred to the “Protected Persons” status of the residents of Ashraf under Fourth Geneva Convention, and called the terrorist attack on water installation of “Protected Persons” a war crime in accordance with the international law.

In their letter addressed to the Iraqi President, they also wrote that the water station used to supply water for 20,000 farmers and residents of villages in the vicinity of Ashraf.
