Talks among Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin ended in Minsk, Belorussia, without reaching any results. According to the Russian Interfax news agency Putin said Russia and Ukraine continue to have many unresolved issues.
In this meeting Petro Poroshenko referred to the arrest of 10 Russian paratroops on Ukraine soil.
Putin tried to justify this aggression by saying, “These individuals were protecting the Russian border and there is this possibility that they stranded into Ukrainian territory.”
