Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani said in an interview with Al Jazeera TV, “Nobody wants Maliki except himself and some people around him. Not only the Kurds, but almost all Iraqis now reject Maliki.”
He added, “It is impossible to help Maliki when he tries to cover his failures by leveling accusations against us… It is impossible to return to one person ruling from the centre. There is no return to one central figure, assaulting the people from Baghdad as Prime Minister and commander of the armed forces.”
