Asharqia TV reported: Regarding Iraqiya leader Ayad Allawi, victor of Iraq’s March 7 polls, taking the premiership, Nouri Maliki said in an interview in Beirut: As long as everything is conducted according to legal methods, there is no problem with this issue.

On the sidelines of the mourning ceremony for the deceased Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah and after meeting Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Nouri Maliki made a statement to the media saying what is important for us is the establishment of the new government by true participation and representatives, even if it takes time, Al-Sharqia TV said. Maliki went on to say the main issue is not to delay in this regard, yet the process of government formation must be right and sound to maintain the progress made so far.
