Captian Mohamed Fouzi Jassem, an officer from the Iraqi Prime Ministry Military Office defected from the Army. In an interview with Al-Tagheer TV he said: My defection is in protest to Maliki’s policies, who in favor of his electoral interests is quelling the peaceful demonstrations and is pushing the country into a sectarian war… the most danger thing that now threatens the country is returning to dictatorship.
