Al Rafedein TV in Iraq reported Sheikh Abdolqader Tayel, a senior member of the Iraqi armed tribes council, said Maliki military personnel are behind flooding Diyala Province areas by damaging dams.
“Maliki and his military personnel have flooded these areas to prevent armed tribes from reaching Baghdad. Of course we have replacement agendas. Maliki’s commanders thought by flooding these areas they can prevent advances by the armed tribes towards Baghdad,” he said.
