Maliki government officials executed 12 individuals, Iraqi VP says

INTV, 30 Sep 2013 – Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi said Maliki government officials carried out the death sentences of 12 individuals.
Simultaneously, north of the city of Babel a terrorist bombing targeted a funeral ceremony, killing 40 people and leaving 50 others injured.
Another bombing took place in a bazaar located in the northern area of Baghdad taking the lives of 5 people. Also, a bomb explosion near a mosque in the city of Baquba left 5 worshippers dead and 12 others injured.
