Iraq’s al-Rafidain TV aired a report citing Pas daily printed in Iraqi Kurdistan as writing, “An officer of the Free Syrian Army said that Maliki’s government has dispatched a battalion to Syria to support the Assad regime.”
This officer stressed this military unit entered Syria three days ago through the al-Zamir airport in Damascus.
