According to a report aired by Al-Jazeera TV, Iraqi Staff General Ghafel al-Doleimi, a military expert and strategist, said, “The moral of Maliki’s army is low because they see they are treated well when they go to the other areas. If the army enters the cities and takes control over buildings they will suffer a lot of casualties. Tanks and armored personnel carriers are large targets and they can be destroyed with one RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenade launcher.”
