The Lebanon National Security Bureau said 99 security forces and a number of demonstrators were injured during clashes erupting on Monday, August 24th in Beirut rallies.
Stability was restored after security forces stationed in the Lebanese capital in support of the army, Al Jazeera TV reported.
On Monday protesters launched further rallies.
Protesters took action against those seeking sectarian objectives intending to derail the demonstration.
