Lebanese political leader Walid Jonbalat warned Iran stressing they will not allow Lebanon become the second Gaza, the Kuwaiti Al-Seyassah daily wrote.
In a press conference, Jonbalat expressed his opposition of Lebanon becoming a second Gaza, adding we rejects Iran’s view of considering Lebanon as a base to reach its objectives in negotiations with Western nations.
Jonbalat called on Hezbollah to hand over to the International Criminal Court the four individuals accused of assassinating former Lebanese premier Rafiq Hariri, adding the ruling has been issued by the court and this court has accused Hezbollah members. Therefore, if those involved in Hezbollah have arguments against these accusations, they must defend themselves in international courts, he continued.
