Arab coalition warplanes launched airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in Nahdein heights, the presidential palace and Republican Guard bases in Sana’a on Monday, Al Arabiya TV reported.
Clashes in Ma’rib Province between popular resistance forces and Houthi militants continued in the Jafina, Faw and Ashraf fronts. Yemen National Army troops along with popular resistance units have taken over new positions in these areas. Houthis positions southwest of Ma’rib were once again bombed by Arab coalition planes and a senior Houthi member by the name of Mohamed Abdulaziz Obeid was killed along with 4 others in the town of Harib.
Furthermore, indiscriminate artillery barrages by the Houthis against residential areas in downtown Ta’izz left three women killed and others injured.
Popular resistance forces in the Jahmila districts of Ta’izz have made advances, killing dozens of Houthis.
