
Following the liberation of the Bab al-Mandab Strait by Arab coalition forces, reports indicate that they transferred control over this strategic water passage to the Yemen Vice President and Prime Minister Khalid al-Bahah, Al Arabiya TV reported on Saturday.
Arab coalition warplanes were also seen targeting the presidential complex and Fort Sama in the capital Sana’a.
The home of the Houthi leader north of Sana’a in the town of Irhab, a special forces base and Shabab Stadium in al-Baydha Province were also targeted.
The city of Ta’izz in southwestern Yemen witnessed heavy clashes between Houthi militants and popular resistance forces, reports indicate.
