The White House announced US President Barack Obama has spoken over the phone on the Ukraine crisis with leaders from France, United Kingdom, Italy, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia, not getting into details in this regard.
However, the French Presidential Office said, “In the phone call between Francoise Hollande and Barack Obama the two leaders emphasized the necessity for Russian military forces to exit the Crimea peninsula.
According to other news US Secretary of State John Kerry in a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart said annexing Crimea to Russia can be the end point of diplomacy. These talks followed the increasing siege imposed by Russian forces over Crimea, while John Kerry has called for direct talks between Russian and the Ukrainian government.
