Liberation.Fr (French daily) Aug. 27 — French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner emphasizes “A broad-based government of national unity must be established in Iraq.”

In an article, after reminding critical insecurity in Iraq and the differences that exist between the green zone and Kurdish region with the other parts of Iraq, French FM. Kouchner wrote: “this situation caused disposition of four million Iraqis, as well as two thousand people are getting killed every month.”

Kouchner underlined that Iraq’s problem has a political answer and not a military one and said: “A broad-based government of national unity must be established in Iraq to help end instability and violence there.”
