Al Rafedein TV broadcasted images of a pro-Maliki demonstration in Baghdad’s Tahrir Square on Saturday showing Maliki supporters raising posters of Khomeini and Khamenei.
Al Rafedein TV cited informed sources saying Maliki issued an urgent and secret letter to various ministries, including the Ministry of Interior, emphasizing the necessity of senior ministry officials and their employees taking part in this demonstration. Three officers with plainclothes were participating in the demonstrations, the sources added.
