Jomhouri Islami daily the mouthpiece of mullahs’ supreme leader, in its yesterday’s editorial entitled “Lebanon, the days of destiny” defended the mullahs’ regime’s plots and special measures in Lebanon including continued domination over the Beirut’s airport.

Part of the editorial reads: “Should the Hezbollah have no control over Beirut’s airport security wise, and if the security-intelligence network of the Hezbollah is disbanded, then the most significant barriers to the influence of the Zionist regime in Lebanon would be eliminated and the espionage networks of the U.S. and Israel will easily pursue their goals in Lebanon.

The reactionary Arab leaders regard the Lebanese resistance, headed by Hezbollah, as dangerous to their flimsy existence.

The U.S. influence in the region will be cut off, the dependent regimes will be changed, the fate of Iraq and Afghanistan will be in the hands of their nations, and the political equations of the region will be restructured. Lebanon will get rid of uncertainty…. And thanks to Hezbollah’s resistance, Lebanon will gain its dependence forever.

The hot summer of Lebanon has already started; but this is only the beginning of a lengthy.
