Zalmay Khalilzad, US representative in the UN said: With the beginning of the new year, efforts for releasing a new resolution against the Iranian regime will be resumed and considering the negotiations taken place with the permanent members of the Security Council and Germany, we are confident that this resolution will be approved.

In an interview with BBC TV Network, he added: the Iranian regime ignored previous two Security Council resolutions which asked halt of Uranium enrichment program and construction of the heavy water reactor for plutonium production. That is why the third resolution will be released.
