On Jan. 23, in an interview with the Al-Anba magazine published in Beirut, the Lebanese Socialist Progressive party and Druze leader, Walid Jumblatt called the operatives of the mullahs’ regime ruling Iran the cause of present political crisis in that country.

He said the opponents of the present legal government of Lebanon are using all opportunities to inflict our democracy and economy of our country. They do not allow progress in political process by doing provocative actions. We ask them, all of these sufferings and destructions aren’t enough for the Lebanese people? Why are you trying to ignite another war?

Walid Jumblatt added: the opponents are trying to make a coup against everything to stop the international tribunal for trying the suspects of Rafiq Hariri’s assassination.
