In an interview with Italian daily il Folio, Franco Fratini, Italy’s Foreign Minister, announced harsher sanctions need to be imposed on the Iranian regime.
Fratini said, “Today we believe more than ever that sanctions have to be imposed on Iran. Iran must understand that its insistence on nuclear program would deteriorate the situation.” He added, “We believe Iran has no other choice to revise its policies when the sanctions pressure it.”
