
INTV, 19 Oct 2013 – Italy warns of any optimism in actual change taking place with Rouhani coming to power in Iran.
“After Iran’s new president came to power, the Italian government has shown signals of its attention. However, I believe this subject is not a matter that we should more optimistic than that,” said Italian Foreign Minister Emma Bonino in a Senate Foreign and Defense Commission hearing.
According to an Italian news agency the minister believes this is an opportunity that must be founded on actions, not just sentiment.
