The Syrian National Coalition has been recognized by Rome as the sole representative of the Syrian people, Al Jazeera TV reported on November 19.
During his visit to Qatar Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti announced his government considers the opposition Syrian National Coalition as the legal representative of the Syrian people.
