Italy’s deputy foreign minister asked for further sanctions against the Iranian regime and said: If we want to make the Iranian regime to change its position regarding its nuclear dossier, we have to think of harsher sanctions, VOA reported.
Stefania Craxi reiterated: Iran’s nuclear activities being used by a person like Ahmadinejad has turned into our prime challenge. I personally believe we should think of removing our assets out of Iran.
She added: I have no doubt that the Europe and the West have so far criticized the violation of human rights in Iran in a very weak tone, and the support for Iranian dissidents has been very trivial. I believe we can uproot this problem only through supporting the Iranian regime’s opponents.
