In an interview with Italian Radio Radical, Franco Frattini, Italian Foreign Minister, announced that the sanctions and punishments against the Iranian regime must be intensified.

Frattini stressed that the only way to confront the Iranian regime is the policy that the European Parliament and the US have adopted so far regarding imposition of sanctions.

Italian Foreign Minister emphasized that the Iranian regime has to be encountered decisively.
