With massive rallies and demonstrations spreading throughout the country, Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi said the current demonstrations will lead to an explosion in the society.
“The current Iraqi demonstrations will lead to an explosion because people have lost hope in politicians,” Allawi said in an interview with al-Baghdadiya TV. “The people’s spontaneous movement throughout Iraq has begun to outshine political coalitions and parties and politicians, and they are actually many phases ahead. I forecast new leaders will emerge in Iraq in the coming years,” he said.
