Iraqiya will receive 11 ministries including Ministry of Defense: al-Nujaifi

Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi said, “The key posts were eliminated from the position calculation system and the Iraqiya Coalition will obtain 27% of the ministries, including Ministry of Defense and Iraqiya’s merit will be 11 ministries.”
al-Nujaifi went on to say, “The political factions have agreed on establishing the National Council for Strategic Policies, and as the speaker of the parliament, I am obligated to approve the code of this council during the timing indicated.”
He added, “Any kind of backing away from this agreement will be considered as disorder in the entirety of the political agreement, having a dangerous impact on the integrity of the political trend. He added that factions have agreed with the establishment of the National Council for Strategic Policies and he as the parliament speaker has been obligated to approve the code of that council during the timing indicated.”
