Baghdad TV, 18 Nov 2012 – Iraqiya Coalition spokeswoman Meysoun Al Damalouji emphasized her slate insists on the adoption of a bill limiting the terms of the heads of the country’s three branches, mainly those of the prime minister.
Damalouji said most of the political factions insist on the adoption of this bill and it is not just the Iraqiya slate. The reason is to protect the achievements of the political process, she added.
Insisting on the adoption of this bill is due to concerns regarding the rise of a new dictatorship in Iraq which will have negative impacts on all changes the Iraqis have so far accomplished, she concluded.
