In protest to the shelling of border regions in Iraq’s Kurdistan by the Iranian regime, the Iraqiya slate demanded the expulsion of the Iranian regime’s envoy in Iraq and summoning Iraq’s ambassador from Tehran. Ahmad al-Alwani, Iraqi MP from the Iraqiya slate said the Iranian regime is continuing the shelling of Kurdish regions inside Iraq and this is the second series of shelling taking place this week alone without the Maliki’s government taking any action at all. Al-Alwani demanded an explanation from Maliki’s government regarding this shelling.
