Senior Iraqiya member Dr. Zafer al-Ani described the goal of the visit to Iraq by Ahmadinejad’s deputy by saying, “The Iranian regime intends to complete its plans to occupy Iraq, pursuing this objective through political, security and military plots.”
The presence of Quds Force elements amongst the visiting delegation stresses this fact that this trip was made to “complete the chain of occupying Iraq”, he added.
“Today, the Iranian regime intends to impose pressure on Iraq through economic methods and by the Quds Force with front companies active in trade, finance, tourism and other activities,” Zafer al-Ani added.
