Salman Jumaili, President of the Iraqiya Parliamentary Fraction accused Nouri Maliki of being responsible for prisoners killed under torture in Iraqi prisons, al-Hurra TV reported.
Jumaili issued a press statement on the murder of prisoners under torture and the latest incident involving the death of a Mojma tribal sheikh.
“These measures are taking place under a tribal and vengeance-seeking program, with the government being involved,” Jumaili explained. “Maliki’s admission to various violations does not exempt him of his responsibility because he is the only person involved in security dossiers.”
Referring to the Iranian regime’s attempts to use Iraq in order to provide assistance for the Syrian dictator, Jumaili said Maliki carries out foreign plans to lead the country towards international confrontations in order to decrease the pressure on the Syrian regime.
