The raid conducted by Nouri Maliki’s paramilitary forces against the home and office of Finance Minister Rafe al-Issawi has provoked widespread anger among the Iraqi people and political and religious figures.
Members of the Iraqiya Coalition held a meeting on Friday pledging to take a firm stance against Maliki.
Al-Sumariya TV reported Iraqiya Coalition members declared they have placed their recognition at the disposal of coalition leaders.
