According to Al-Jazeera TV, in a meeting with Amr Mussa, Secretary General of Arab League in Cairo, Sheilh Kadhim Abdulwahed al-Anizan, head of the Southern Iraqi Tribal Council, asked for ending the Iranian regime’s meddling in southern Iraq.

Sheikh al-Anizan said: We asked Amr Mussa to exert pressure on Iran to reduce its pressures in the southern Iraqi regions particularly the Shiite regions. We seek the unity of Iraq, not federalism and division of Iraq based on racial and ethnic sectarianism. We seek territorial integrity and unity of our country.
