In an article in Al-Malaf website, Sufyan Abbas, Secretary General of the Association of Independent Iraqi Jurists, said: The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) is a national liberation movement that is guest of Iraq; an opposition which has been in Iraq for more than a quarter of a century according to the international conventions and covenants which are ignored by the Iranian regime’s agents.

Sufyan Abbas added: the Americans lost when they sat with the Iranian regime at the negotiating table which could be seen in the reactions of people who oppose the currents affiliated to the Iranian regime and its occupation in Iraq. Meeting and negotiation with the Iranian regime is doomed to failure.
